To whom it may concern,
I hereby request the voting record, if any, of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) or its representatives, designees or assigns acting as part of the Shelton Station Condominium Association on any and all matters pertinent to the operations of the UNC Horizons Program and to the UNC Horizons Program facility located in Shelton Station. UNC has been involved with the Shelton Station Condominium Association via assigns acting as board members as early as 2017, when Jeff Kidd of the UNC-CH Property Office was a board member.
I explicitly request such voting records that are pertinent to ARTICLE III, Section 3.4 “Use of Unit, Use Restrictions”, subsection (xvii), to the DECLARATION OF CONDOMINIUM made by SHELTON STATION, LLC on or about march 17, 2017. This subsection explicitly authorizes the operation of bars, and subsequently substance abuse treatment facilities within Shelton Station. This would appear to be clearly conflict with the mission of the UNC Horizons Program.
I additionally request any superseding or prevailing contracts by which UNC-CH may have reserved or acquired additional rights not stipulated within the DECLARATION OF CONDOMINIUM that may be used to frustrate or prevent the operation of a bar or other alcohol-serving establishment in Shelton Station. At present, Dingo Dog Brewing Company is planning to open an alcohol-serving establishment in Shelton Station, which may conflict with the operation of the UNC Horizons Program.
